Persuasive Writing

Dear Mr Macmillan, Especially for you, we are going to have electronics for our destined-won Goldentime. Our fantastic idea will give us a learning opportunity for the class. Room 4 has lots of robots that we could have heaps fun with. We can mess around with them a bit and team up to find out how to use some of them. The rest of the benefits of this Goldentime will be mentioned in the next two paragraphs, so read on! If you would like too on the day, you can also play with us too! Which means you can have fun with the rest of us, and not get bored. However, you don’t have to have fun with us and do your own thing; since we can entertain ourselves with the gadgets we already have so that you do not have to bring your own. There shouldn’t be any problems since we mostly already know how to operate them. And, it will also keep everybody entertained, so you won’t have to supply some of your own electronics to keep us busy. Some people may rather be active or doing other things but we think that you’ll like this idea better than the rest of the others. The Ascension

What's the difference between the Ascension and the Resurrection?

Jesus rose up to Heaven more spirit than human when the Ascension happened.

Becoming completely immortal, at the Resurrection Jesus rose from the dead in human form.

One day, Jesus will come again and clean all of our sins for us.

Writing Goals

My writing goal for term 2 is to use a range of different sentence starters to make my writing more interesting.

T3 Writing Goals: To improve my sentence structures by writing sentences of different lengths and make better use of joining phrases
Reflection for T3 Writing Goals: I have been able to use SOME sentence structure in my writing. However, I do not think I should actually switch over to a NEW goal because I don't think I achieved it [as in the goal].

T4 Writing Goals: Inserting extra varieties of punctuation in places where it could use some without letting it have too much of it. [The punctuation, of course.] Also to deliberately control the size of my sentences so that they are clearer to read.
